Quickboost has released a set of engine exhausts for that famous flying tank hunter of the Eastern Front, the Accurate Miniatures’ version of the heavily armoured and much feared Russian Ilyushin Il-2 Sturmovik. Before you dismiss this bit of aftermarket resin as a waste of money, yes, it’s true that with an X-acto blade and a bit of patience, you can hollow out the kit exhausts yourself, but the finished product may not have the precision and crisp detail of this Quickboost set (if it does, you are ready to be a finalist at the IPMS Nationals, and more power to you!). This kit offers an added bit of realism at an affordable price, one of the small but important details that will make a kit stand out.
