March 21, 1915 - 100 Years Ago in Aviation History:

Zeppelins Bomb Paris

Two German zeppelins drop bombs in the rue Dulong and the rue des Dames, in the Batignolles quarter of Paris, killing 23 and injuring 30.  Anti-aircraft batteries fire on but fail to hit them; by the time aircraft scramble to intercept, the dirigibles escape to the northwest.
